HIAA undergraduate, Peter Luo, organized a panel on the Chinese contemporary art market in April as a part of the 2025 Brown China Summit: Silkroads and Cyberpaths. The panel, titled, “Collecting China: The Contemporary Art Market and the Making of Chineseness,” featured speakers Vicki Paloympis (VP, Head of Chinese Department, Christie's New York), Eli Klein (Founder, Eli Klein Gallery), Xin Wang (Curatorial Director, Pace Gallery; Appointed Faculty, Yale MFA).
