Congratulations to Mohadeseh (Hosna) Salari Sardari for being named the Interdisciplinary Opportunities Fellow at the Pembroke Center for the 2025-26 year! Growing up in southern Iran near the Persian Gulf, Hosna has always approached complex questions through an interdisciplinary lens. Her dissertation examines gendered space in early 20th-century Iran, demonstrating how women’s literary interventions helped shift society from rigidly traditional gendered spaces toward more modern and egalitarian ones.
