Visiting HIAA affiliated faculty in art history, Renée Ater, will participate in a conversation, "Monuments, Murals, and Movements: Reimagining the Art of Social Justice" presented by the Centering Race Consortium, a collaboration between the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America at Brown University, the Center for Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity at Stanford University, the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture at the University of Chicago, and the Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration at Yale University.
