The Italian architecture magazine DOMUS devoted its October issue to the topic of light and architecture. HIAA Professor Dietrich Neumann contributed an essay on the work of Jamie Carpenter and an interview with him. Included in the edition is a piece about light artist Anthony McCall. Both Carpenter and McCall are among several artists who we hope will participate in the Department of the History of Art & Architecture's symposium on light and architecture on Sept. 28/29, 2024, which will be the culminating event in HIAA's current lecture series, Light in Theory and Practice.
