Graduate student Regina Noto Presented with The Schallek Award by the Medieval Academy of America

Graduate student Regina Noto was recently presented with The Schallek Award by the Medieval Academy of America and The Richard III Society American Branch.

The Schallek Award supports graduate students conducting doctoral research in any relevant discipline related to late-medieval Britain (ca.1350-1500). The awards are jointly sponsored by the Medieval Academy of America and The Richard III Society American Branch, made possible by a gift from William B. and Maryloo Spooner Schallek to the Richard III Society.

The Summer Course for the Study of the Arts in Flanders brings a select group of 18 highly qualified young researchers to Flanders for an intensive 11-day program of lectures, discussions, and visits related to medieval and Renaissance sculpture, in this 8th edition of the course. Thanks to the Samuel H. Kress Foundation's History of Art Grants Program, two US students are offered a grant to fully cover the program's fee and round trip flights between Belgium and the US.
